Hey there, I'm Megan
Wife. Mom. Homeschool teacher. And photographer for the past 15+ years.
I believe photos are more than just images on a screen, they're the legacy you leave behind. They're the moments your children will show their children. They're the stories that outlive us all.
That's why I hand-edit every single image myself. Never outsourced. Never rushed. Each portrait receives the care and attention it deserves because your memories deserve nothing less.
My Story
Photography found me in high school, and I've never looked back. What started as a creative outlet, capturing friends, experimenting with light, learning the craft, grew into something much deeper. I discovered that photography wasn't just about technical skill or artistic composition. It was about preserving moments that matter.
Over the past 15+ years, that passion has become my life's work. I've photographed thousands of families throughout Central Texas: newborns taking their first breaths, toddlers diving into birthday cake, seniors stepping into their next chapter, couples celebrating their wedding day, and beloved pets who are just as much family as anyone else..
Each session is different. Each family unique. And I never take for granted the trust you place in me to document your story. What keeps me coming back isn't just the artistry (though I love that part). It's knowing that the images I create today become tomorrow's treasured memories. The photos your grandchildren will look at. The moments that prove "we were here, and we were loved."

I get it. Juggling schedules, managing chaos, capturing the beauty in everyday moments. My family lives this too, my husband Danny and I homeschool our two kids with a focus on real-world skills and entrepreneurship. (They run an egg business and are already learning 3D printing!).

I've photographed thousands of sessions—from elaborate imagination portraits with unicorns and mermaids to intimate newborn moments. Experience matters when you're trusting someone with your most precious memories.

My Philosophy
Beautiful portraits shouldn't feel stressful. Sessions should be fun, relaxed, and genuine.
I work at your pace,especially with wiggly toddlers, nervous seniors, or camera-shy partners.
Whether we're chasing kids through bluebonnets, setting up an elaborate unicorn scene, or capturing quiet newborn cuddles, my goal is for you to enjoy the experience.
Because when your child looks back at these photos in 20 years, I want them to remember not just how they looked, but how loved they felt.
I don't do stiff, awkward poses (unless that’s the point of the session! lol).
I don't rush you through a session. And I certainly don't hand your precious memories off to someone else to edit.
Your story deserves care, artistry, and attention. That's what I do.
My Why
After 15+ years, I could have chosen a different path. But there's something profound about being trusted with people's most vulnerable, joyful, transformative moments. The brand-new parents holding their firstborn, exhausted and overwhelmed and so deeply in love. The child seeing themselves as a magical fairy for the first time, wings and all. The couple who just promised forever to each other. The family who hasn't had professional photos in 10 years and finally made it happen. These aren't just "jobs" to me. They're privileges. And I take that seriously.
